Hong Kong Kidney Foundation (HKKF) is a non-profit making voluntary organization incorporated on the 10th July 1979. It was made possible by generous donations meeting the initial setting up costs. The operation of HKKF is under the Board of Governors.

The main objects for which HKKF is established are

  1. render assistance, treatment and services to persons suffering from kidney diseases
  2. promote the awareness of kidney diseases through general public activities and educational programs
  3. promote organ donation
  4. promote research and other activities related to kidney diseases
  5. support training for medical and nursing staff

The annual running cost of HKKF is supported by donation from the general public.
